The Smokey Shed uses a traditional smoking recipe dating back generations.
Unlike most modern Smokehouses who ‘dry-cure’ with salt, we cure our salmon in a marinade.
This form of ‘wet-curing’ ensures the salmon retains a full-bodied flavour and allows for all the subtle footnotes from the brine to be released during the smoking process.
Our smoked salmon is smoked slowly over oak chips to produce a deep flavour. These sides are ready trimmed for you to slice yourself.
